Pastor Deo and ChildrenTHE STREET CHILDREN of KIGALI
Pastor Deogratias Gashagaza, a Pentecostal Minister serves as Executive Director of Prison Fellowship Rwanda. He also has a heart for the homeless and orphaned children of Rwanda’s capital city, Kigali. In 2006 he founded “Pastor Deo’s Street Children’s Ministry”.
Pastor Deo’s Street Children’s Ministry is totally dependant on individual donations made to the Mustard Seed Project and designated as such. Mustard Seed Project has been in partnership with Deo’s ministry since 2010.
There are currently 100 children, mostly boys and between the ages of 6 to 20 who are enrolled in Deo’s ministry. The children are invited to the Prison Fellowship Offices three days per week where they are able to enjoy a nutritious meal, shower and wash their clothes, participate in a Bible study and enjoy fellowship. In recent months we have been able to support feeding the children three times per week. Our short term goal is to increase the feeding to five days per week.
