Student Sponsorships are avaliable in both the Primary and Secondary School levels. Primary grades are P-1 through P-6. Secondary level grades are S-1 through S-6 (which is equivalent to high school grades 7-12).
The basic cost to sponsor a child is $25.00 per month ($300 annually) for a primary student and $40.00 per month ($480.00 annually) for a secondary student. However, because of the rapid rise in the cost of living in Rwanda in the past few years, it has become necessary for us to seek multiple sponsors (3) per student to properly care for the children.
Because the sponsored child actually lives at the school, a portion of the sponsorship also helps fund the operation and upkeep of the school, ie: teacher and staff salaries, utilities, etc.
We invite you to participate in our child sponsorship program by either subscribing to a partial or full sponorship of a Sonrise student. (For additional information regarding the Sonrise Orphans Ministry, plese see the "Frequently Asked Questions" in the Sonrise School Story).
